Biographical Information:
Hi my name is Adam Harmer and I presently teach K-5 elementary and 6th grade middle school physical education. I live in Cedar Rapids with my lovely wife, Nicole. We have a rambunctious cat named Herky. We are both big Iowa Hawkeye fans and we enjoy spending time together with our families.
-2005-2008: Paraprofessional at Madison Elementary School in Cedar Rapids, IA (Assisted physical education, art, and music teachers, one-on-one associate and associate in behavioral disorder classroom)
-2008-2011 Substitute Paraprofessional, Linn Mar Schools (Supervised behavioral disorder students, worked with autism students, supervised recess for multiple grade levels, assisted students in all academic and special areas)
-2011 Student Taught Elementary Physical Education at Van Buren Elementary School and Echo Hill Elementary School
-2011 Substitute taught Physical Education in the Cedar Rapids and College Community School Districts
-2011 1st year teaching Elementary Physical Education in the Springville Community School District
